Hello,
a bit about me:
A little about myself, I grew up in Phoenix Maryland. A sheltered place deep in horse riding country with nothing around for miles. For Kindergarten through eighth grade I attended St. James Academy but the school only went up to Eighth Grade so, after much consideration, I decided to attend St. Paul’s School for Boys instead of Loyola as my father, grandfather and great grandfather had done. During my time in High School I was looking for hobby's and found that playing the guitar was something I was interested in. Guitar dictated my life for sometime and at the end of my Senior Year I figured I would find a Major in college that would allow me to pursue my career in Music.
Over the summer I got my first job I worked at a seafood market, Reliant Fish. The main idea of working there was just so I could get exposure to how a working environment functioned but it was harder tan most jobs because the hours were 1am-11am. This meant that in order to make the 45 minute drive from my house to the market I had to get up at around 12:30am. This was one of the toughest things I had ever done in my life but it taught me the value of teamwork and how to function in a work environment.
While my summer was ending I took a brief vacation from work and 3 weeks before I moved into college, I read a book on the beach that changed my outlook on what I wanted to do in life. This book was The Red Notice by Bill Browder. The true story is about Bill Browder and his journey to becoming one of the most powerful Hedge fund managers in the world managing a staggering 4.5 billion dollars. This book instantly changed my intended Major to Finance as opposed to Performing Arts or something of that nature but I decided to keep playing guitar just in case things don’t work out. Now I am in college at High Point University and I am going to declare my major by the end of the first semester as Finance.
